Claira Jane...

Claira was just a sweetheart. Once she was settled she was sleeping hard. She is a strong little girl. I had such a wonderful time capturing these photo's for Tab and Sarah. They have been through such a hard time this past year. Tab broke his back and just a short while after a major back surgery Claira was born. God has been healing and working on their lives. I am just happy I could offer my talent. Now here is Claira.

Baby Addison

Oregon Beauty...

This is lava fields near sisters and McKenzie Pass. As you notice though this area was covered by lava at one point, but still tree's and bushes grow out of that lava. The pumas is quit hard and leaves red like beaded rocks on the hwy.

The only way I know how to describe just how big this rock wall is to look at the large tree's at the bottom. Those tree's are not little tiny tree's. It was so massive, our car look like a tiny toy car next to it. The boulders were very large down below. Hard to capture to show you. I stood in awe at how big it really was.

The Mountains are incredible in eastern Oregon!!

There were also wild forest fires going on the devastation was terrible.

Here below are tree's burnt by a previous fire all the way to the hwy on both sides. Another fire is consuming the forest as well. Notice the smoke in the sky in this picture.

Week 18 Sweet Girl

I could not help but make this my project 52 picture for the week. She is just a knock out. She was not happy with me pointing some weird looking object in her face (camera) and certainly from someone she did not know. She warmed up eventually. So adorable!!

Week 17: Fifal

This cat is one handsome cat. Catching him like this is a rare moment. He is my mom's cat. He is so beautiful. We found Fifal in a ditch almost dead. He barely could walk. We rescued him. He had been one of the best cats ever for my mom. He is very loved and spoiled rotten!

Week 15 This is called the "Cat snooze"

This kitten would get into my farm shoe and snooze in it constantly. Don't ask me how one can conform but he did. So sweet!!

Week 16: Independence Day..yup this is a firework. It is such a pleasure of mine to capture such beautiful images that fireworks create. To me they are an art in themselves.

Flowers and things...

Who knew a pine tree has its own type of flower, really its a shell to a pod or new leaves.

Then these beautiful flowers just blooming all over. Neat find!

While driving these were just glowing in the ditch...how beautiful are they!

The beautiful mountains and wood lands of Oregon

While gone to gather wood for the upcoming winter months I grabbed my camera. There are always beautiful images just waiting to be captured. Walking around a little it was wonderful, fun to share these with you!!

We were getting ready to leave and several times we were stopping to grab images. It was dark and sun was still shining through tree's. The moss was glowing in the rays. Beautiful to see.

This tree was glowing above all others around it. It was a site to see in person. Breath taking to be able to capture this!

Water falls were a plenty where we were at. Everything was so green and beautiful.

The deer fern glowing in the sun was a fun capture towards the evening. Deer fern look almost like snakes at the top, rolling up and leaves opening. Here is another shot of that below

These were everywhere, some were darker at top and some were bent. I captured lots of these. I couldn't help myself. Things in the forest may only last for a week or so and its gone. So capture it while you can because if you go back it may not be there next time.

Then while stopping to take pictures of lots of wild flowers growing everywhere there was this nugget growing right out of a mossy rock. I was dancing when I seen this.

The wild flowers were everywhere. Just beautiful, it really was a site to see!

I love sheep, something about Mary had a little lamb that I just can't help but love those sheep. While driving I had my hubby stop to take quick snap shots of the eagles and sheep. I did not have the right lens for the eagles, but I had to share how cute this was with you all.

Look how cute the baby looks like on his momma's back. How adorable is that?

This one has 2 baby eagles in back. Mom and Dad eagles were watching their babies hunt. This year in Oregon there are allot of eagles in the fields.

Animals, little Americana and more

My Animals are a joy in my life at times. They keep you busy. My 'peepers" which are my ducks follow me everywhere like a momma duck and literally come right up to me. I started calling them peepers because of the sound they made as babies. I can get some of the most amazing pictures because of their trust of me.

This peepers had just has a bath and was fluffed up cleaning himself.

Not the best picture of a Llama but my Mario (his name) he was being silly. He had his lip all curled up looking at me like "Hi mom" in a goofy look with his ears straight up.. So funny.

Finally here are a few Americana pictures I took while at a 912 project meeting. The signs were nailed to the tree representing our core values etc.

There were many things written like Courage, Humility etc..

Sunsets and birthdays

I woke up to this beautiful sunrise one morning, grabbed my camera and started clicking. I took about 6 images and it started fading almost immediately. I just luckily had my camera accessable because it went quick.

I recently got to take First birthday pictures for Madeline Claire. Madi is a little miracle baby. She was not suppose to be born alive or live very long after birth. Madi has hydrocephalus and had a stage 3 stroke in her mommies womb. She has already been through 2 brain surgeries and will need them around every 3 years or so for her shunt that is in her head. She also has mild cerebral palsy caused by the stroke. Madi is the joy of our families lives. We are grateful for God gracing us with her. (Madi is my grand Niece)

Beautiful evening down the pass after along day of wood cutting. This little squirrel was barking at us. It must of only been 2 1/2 -3 inches at the most. So cute. Squirrel just stood there and posed for as long as I needed it to. The mountains were a beautiful site. Did not have my tripod with me, but next time I will.

James wanted to be in the camera spotlight. He was right there wanting to assist his sister. Madi she wanted to touch and see everything. Madi is a special girl. She is a miracle baby that was not suppose to live or even be born alive. She had a stage 3 stroke in her mothers womb and she has hydrocephalus. She has had 2 brain surgeries and will have them probably for the rest of her life every 3 yrs or so. She is a huge blessing to our family. Her older brother adores her and he just kisses and loves his sister. She is a special girl in his eyes. He runs up to her and says "sissy" and tickles her. What a blessing!
